I’m working a later shift today because I have a meeting from 6-8pm so I’m not going in today until noon. Hubby and the kids left at 8am so that means I have 3 hours of blissful peace and time to do whatever I want! Loving it…….

We had a busy weekend. The kiddos came back from a visit to the Grandparents in Indiana of almost 2 weeks. While I loved having some time away from being a mommy for a bit, I was really missing them and ready for them to be back. Nothing is quite as good as yummy family time after a season of being really busy and scattered…last night we went swimming and then showered and piled all together on the couch to watch tv….it was wonderful!

Gearing up for the start of school in a few weeks…the summer went by so quickly. My 5 year old got her new backpack and lunchbox for kindergarten (courtesy of a loving Grammy) – any guesses what that five year old picked??? Out of all the choices that Target had, she had to have “High School Musical”. She is going to school in style now!

So that is the quick version of the happenings at worshipfan-central for the last few days….it’s always hoppin around here! I’ll leave you with this quick thought…

A priest and pastor from the local parishes are standing by the side of the road holding up a sign that reads, “The End is Near! Turn around before it’s too late!”

“Leave us alone you religious nuts!” yelled the first driver as he sped by.

From around the curve they heard screeching tires and a big splash. “Do you think,” said one clergy to the other, “we should just put up a sign that says ‘Bridge Out’ instead?”
